Never leave a burning candle unattended. Make sure the candle is completely out and the wick ember is no longer glowing before leaving the room.
Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Never burn a candle near something that may catch fire. Keep the candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, and wall hangings.
Keep away from kids and pets. Make sure the candle cannot be reached or knocked over.
Avoid drafts and vents or any air currents. This will prevent rapid or uneven burning, sooting and excessive dripping.
Always trim wick before you light the candle. The wick should generally be a-quarter-of-an-inch. This will prolong the life of the candle and allow a cleaner burn.
Never touch or move a burning candle while the wax is liquid.
Do not ingest any part of the candle and do not use the wax on any part of the body.
